Responsibilities
- Assist in complex dental procedures including implants, veneers, and full-mouth reconstructions
- Manage digital radiography systems (CBCT) and intraoral cameras
- Supervise junior assistants and implement infection control protocols
- Coordinate patient flow and chairside efficiency for multiple operators
- Maintain sterilization protocols exceeding OSHA standards
- Utilize practice management software (Dentrix/Eaglesoft) for documentation
- Train staff on new equipment and techniques
Qualifications
- CDA or RDA certification required (Florida license)
- 3+ years experience in cosmetic/restorative dentistry
- CPR/BLS certification
- Advanced knowledge of dental materials and equipment
- Exceptional chairside communication skills
- Experience managing inventory and ordering supplies
- Proficiency with digital impressions and CAD/CAM workflows
- Ability to maintain composure during emergency procedures
