Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during complex procedures including implants, orthodontics, and cosmetic dentistry
- Manage sterilization protocols and OSHA compliance with meticulous attention to detail
- Train and mentor junior dental assistants on clinical procedures and patient communication
- Oversee inventory management and ordering for clinical supplies
- Coordinate with front desk to optimize patient flow and appointment efficiency
- Take digital impressions and assist with intraoral photography
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
Qualifications
- 3+ years of dental assisting experience with advanced certifications (DALEF, EFDA, or radiology license)
- Proven expertise in dental software (Epic, Dentrix, or comparable)
- CPR/BLS certification and current X-ray license in Colorado
- Exceptional chairside skills for complex restorative and cosmetic procedures
- Strong leadership abilities with experience training clinical staff
- Excellent interpersonal skills for patient education and team collaboration
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced luxury practice environment
