Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including implant placements and crown preparations
- Manage digital radiography and CAD/CAM imaging systems
- Sterilize equipment and maintain OSHA-compliant infection protocols
- Train new assistants on practice-specific workflows and technologies
- Coordinate patient flow between operatories and treatment rooms
- Execute four-handed dentistry techniques efficiently
- Manage inventory ordering and supply chain optimization
Qualifications
- Active Texas Dental Assistant Radiology certification (RDA)
- Minimum 3 years experience in general or cosmetic dentistry
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft/Dentrix practice management software
- DEXIS or Sirona imaging system experience
- CPR/BLS certification from American Heart Association
- Exceptional chairside communication skills with diverse patients
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
