Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including oral surgery and implant placements
- Manage digital radiography and CAD/CAM systems with precision
- Oversee sterilization protocols and inventory management
- Train new assistants on clinical workflows and patient communication
- Prepare treatment rooms and materials for specialized procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Implement infection control standards exceeding OSHA guidelines
Qualifications
- CDA certification or RDA license required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in high-volume cosmetic dentistry
- Expertise in digital impressions and intraoral photography
- Strong knowledge of dental software (Dentrix/Eaglesoft)
- CPR/BLS certification
- Exceptional chairside demeanor and patient rapport skills
- Ability to manage multiple procedures simultaneously
- Experience with nitrous oxide and conscious sedation protocols
