Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during complex dental procedures including implants, orthodontics, and oral surgery
- Manage digital radiography (X-rays) and intraoral imaging with Dexis systems
- Sterilize instruments and maintain OSHA-compliant operatory protocols
- Coordinate patient flow and optimize scheduling efficiency
- Train new assistants on practice-specific protocols and technologies
- Inventory management for dental supplies and restorative materials
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of chairside dental assisting experience
- Current DANB certification or Arizona dental assistant license
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft practice management software
- Experience with CAD/CAM systems and digital impressions
- CPR/BLS certification from Red Cross or AHA
- Exceptional patient communication skills in English and Spanish
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
