Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance for complex restorative and cosmetic procedures
- Implementing infection control protocols exceeding OSHA standards
- Managing digital radiography and intraoral imaging systems
- Coordinating patient flow across 4 operatories
- Training and mentoring junior dental assistants
- Assisting with dental material inventory management
- Preparing treatment rooms for specialized procedures
- Documenting patient care in digital practice management software
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or RDA required
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in general/cosmetic dentistry
- Proficiency with digital radiography and practice management software
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
- CPR/BLS certification (current)
- Experience with dental materials inventory systems
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
