Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including oral surgery and restorative treatments
- Manage digital imaging systems and implement infection control protocols
- Train and mentor junior dental assistants on clinical procedures
- Oversee inventory management and ordering of dental supplies
- Deliver exceptional patient education on post-treatment care
- Coordinate with insurance providers for accurate claims processing
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent KY licensure required
- Minimum 3 years of clinical dental assisting experience
- Advanced knowledge of digital radiography and practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification with current renewal
- Demonstrated expertise in four-handed dentistry techniques
- Proven ability to manage high-volume patient schedules
