Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including implant placements and orthodontic adjustments
- Manage digital imaging systems (CBCT, intraoral cameras) and treatment planning software
- Oversee sterilization protocols and OSHA compliance for 5-operatories
- Train and mentor junior dental assistants on clinical workflows
- Execute chairside assistance for pediatric and geriatric patient populations
- Coordinate patient flow and optimize daily schedule efficiency
- Manage inventory for clinical supplies and dental materials
Qualifications
- 3+ years of clinical dental assisting experience with advanced certification
- Current DANB/RDA license and radiography certification
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft and Dexis imaging systems
- CPR/BLS certification with current AHA credentials
- Experience with CAD/CAM workflows and digital impressions
- Exceptional communication skills for patient education
- Ability to manage high-volume caseload with precision
- Background in pediatric sedation dentistry preferred
