Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during complex dental procedures including implants, orthodontics, and restorative treatments
- Manage digital radiography and intraoral imaging systems with precision
- Oversee infection control protocols and OSHA compliance across all operatories
- Train and mentor junior dental assistants on practice procedures and technologies
- Coordinate seamless patient flow between hygiene and treatment rooms
- Maintain accurate digital patient records using Dentrix/Eaglesoft software
- Assist in dental lab procedures including crown/bridge fabrication
Qualifications
- Current DANB certification or CDA credential with 3+ years clinical experience
- Advanced knowledge of dental radiography and infection control protocols
- Proficiency in digital imaging (CBCT, intraoral cameras) and practice management software
- Experience in assisting with complex procedures including IV sedation
- Strong leadership abilities with prior mentorship experience
- BLS/CPR certification from American Heart Association
- Exceptional communication skills in diverse healthcare environments
