Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical cases
- Manage patient flow, ensuring seamless chairside support and comfort
- Perform digital radiography and advanced sterilization protocols
- Maintain precise digital patient records and inventory systems
- Train and mentor new dental assistants on practice protocols
- Oversee infection control compliance and OSHA standards
- Coordinate lab cases and material ordering for efficiency
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (DANB or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography (DEXIS/Sirona) and Eaglesoft
- CPR/BLS certification with current renewal
- Exceptional communication skills for patient education
- Proven ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Knowledge of Massachusetts dental regulations
- Strong attention to detail and infection control expertise
