Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during complex dental procedures including restorative, endodontic, and orthodontic treatments
- Manage digital radiography and intraoral imaging systems with precision
- Oversee sterilization protocols and infection control procedures
- Train and mentor new dental assistants on practice standards and software
- Coordinate patient flow and optimize clinical efficiency
- Execute expanded functions under dentist supervision (e.g., coronal polishing, sealant placement)
- Maintain digital patient records using Eaglesoft practice management software
Qualifications
- Current DANB certification or Colorado RDA license
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Advanced knowledge of OSHA and CDC sterilization protocols
- Proficiency with digital radiography and practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification from accredited institution
- Exceptional communication skills for patient education and team collaboration
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced clinical environment
- Experience with dental materials inventory management
