Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during complex dental procedures including implant placements and restorative dentistry
- Manage digital radiography systems and intraoral imaging with precision
- Oversee sterilization protocols and infection control procedures exceeding OSHA standards
- Train new dental assistants on practice workflows and equipment operation
- Perform advanced dental impressions and provisional crown fabrication
- Coordinate patient flow and optimize clinical efficiency
- Maintain accurate dental records using Eaglesoft practice management software
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification required
- Minimum 3 years of chairside dental assisting experience in a fast-paced practice
- Advanced knowledge of dental radiography and infection control protocols
- Proficiency in digital imaging software (Eaglesoft/Dentrix preferred)
- CPR/BLS certification with current AHA certification
- Exceptional patient communication and chairside manner skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume setting
