Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and treatment rooms for dental procedures with precision and efficiency
- Assist dentists during complex restorative and cosmetic treatments
- Manage digital imaging systems (X-rays, CBCT) and maintain OSHA compliance
- Oversee sterilization protocols and inventory management
- Train new dental assistants on clinic workflows and best practices
- Deliver exceptional patient education and comfort measures
- Coordinate seamless communication between clinical and administrative teams
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or RDA required with 3+ years experience
- Expertise in dental radiography and infection control protocols
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft practice management software
- Strong knowledge of dental instruments and materials
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced clinical environments
- CPR/BLS certification and current Texas dental radiography permit
- Associate's degree in Dental Assisting preferred
