Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, surgical, and orthodontic treatments
- Perform digital X-rays and intraoral imaging with precision and patient comfort focus
- Manage sterilization protocols and infection control compliance per OSHA/CDC standards
- Coordinate patient flow, chairside assistance, and instrument preparation for efficient operations
- Train and mentor new dental assistants on clinical protocols and practice standards
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix/Eaglesoft practice management software
- Order and inventory dental supplies while optimizing cost-efficiency
Qualifications
- Active RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) license or X-ray certification for CA
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- CPR/BLS certification and current HIPAA compliance training
- Proficiency in digital radiography and practice management software
- Exceptional chairside assisting skills for multi-procedure cases
- Strong leadership abilities with training/mentoring experience
- Detail-oriented with impeccable infection control practices
- Excellent communication skills for patient education and team collaboration
