Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including oral surgery and restorative treatments
- Manage patient flow and optimize chairside efficiency
- Sterilize instruments and maintain OSHA-compliant operatory protocols
- Take and develop dental radiographs with precision
- Train and mentor junior dental assistants
- Manage digital patient records using Dentrix/Epic software
- Assist with inventory management and supply ordering
Qualifications
- MA Dental Assistant License required (DANB or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in a busy practice
- CPR/BLS certification
- Expertise in digital radiography and infection control
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Exceptional patient communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with dental practice management software
