Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during complex dental procedures including implants, orthodontics, and restorative treatments
- Manage digital radiography and imaging systems with precision and efficiency
- Sterilization and infection control compliance exceeding OSHA standards
- Patient education on oral hygiene and treatment procedures
- Inventory management of dental supplies and equipment maintenance
- Maintain accurate patient records in our digital practice management software
- Train new assistants on clinical protocols and practice standards
Qualifications
- CDA (Certified Dental Assistant) or RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) certification required
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography (X-rays) and intraoral imaging
- Demonstrated expertise in infection control protocols
- Strong knowledge of dental instruments and equipment maintenance
- Exceptional patient communication and chairside manner
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Current CPR/BLS certification
