Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including implant placements and orthodontic adjustments
- Manage sterilization protocols and OSHA compliance for 8 operatories
- Train new assistants on practice workflows and digital imaging systems
- Oversee inventory management for dental supplies and equipment
- Coordinate patient flow and chairside assistance for multiple providers
- Maintain accurate digital patient records in Dentrix/Eaglesoft
Qualifications
- CDA certification or RDA license (Texas Board of Dentistry)
- 3+ years of chairside experience in specialty/general practice
- Expertise in digital radiography and CBCT imaging
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Excellent communication skills for patient education
- BLS/CPR certification
- Experience with dental practice management software
