Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including oral surgery and restorative treatments
- Manage digital radiography systems and intraoral imaging with precision
- Sterilize equipment and maintain OSHA-compliant infection control protocols
- Train junior assistants on advanced techniques and practice workflows
- Oversee inventory management and supply ordering for 10+ operatories
- Implement patient education programs for post-operative care
- Coordinate seamless communication between clinical and administrative teams
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (DANB/CDA) with 5+ years' experience
- Advanced certification in radiography and nitrous oxide monitoring
- Expertise in digital dental software (Epic, Dentrix, or similar)
- Proven experience in periodontal surgery and implant procedures
- Strong leadership skills with team training experience
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred
- CPR/BLS certification and current BLS renewal
