Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including implant placements and oral surgeries
- Manage digital radiography and intraoral imaging systems with precision
- Lead infection control protocols and sterilization processes exceeding OSHA standards
- Train and mentor junior dental assistants on practice workflows and patient care standards
- Coordinate patient education on post-treatment care and preventive dentistry
- Oversee inventory management and supply ordering for 5 operatories
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent Pennsylvania license
- Minimum 3 years experience in general or specialty dental practice
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft or DentalWorks practice management software
- Advanced knowledge of dental materials and chairside procedures
- CPR/BLS certification with current renewal
- Exceptional communication skills for patient education and team collaboration
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
