Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions using advanced triage protocols and prioritize care based on severity
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to coordinate emergency care pathways
- Train and mentor junior nursing staff on triage methodologies and critical decision-making
- Maintain accurate electronic health records with detailed clinical documentation
- Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient flow and outcomes
- Respond to mass casualty incidents with crisis management expertise
Qualifications
- Current RN license with minimum 5 years emergency department experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- BSN or MSN degree preferred
- Proven expertise in rapid patient assessment and critical thinking
- Exceptional communication skills for high-pressure situations
- Experience with Epic or EHR systems
- Leadership experience in clinical settings
