Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during complex restorative and cosmetic procedures
- Exposure management and infection control protocols
- Digital radiography and intraoral imaging
- Patient education on post-procedure care
- Inventory management and sterilization oversight
- Coordination of treatment plans with dentists
- Leading assistant team during peak hours
Qualifications
- 3+ years of dental assisting experience in a high-volume practice
- Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification
- Radiology and infection control certification
- Experience with digital dentistry (CAD/CAM, intraoral scanners)
- Exceptional communication and patient rapport skills
- CPR certification
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
