Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance for general dentistry and cosmetic procedures
- Manage digital radiography (X-ray) and intraoral imaging systems
- Sterilization and infection control compliance (OSHA/CDC standards)
- Patient education on oral hygiene and treatment procedures
- Dental inventory management and supply ordering
- Coordination of treatment plans and scheduling
- Maintaining precise dental records and documentation
Qualifications
- Current Tennessee Dental Assistant certification or DANB credential
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft/Dentrix practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA regulations
- Exceptional communication and patient rapport skills
- Ability to manage multiple procedures simultaneously
- High school diploma or equivalent
