Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during complex dental procedures including restorative and cosmetic treatments
- Digital radiography and CBCT imaging with advanced imaging software
- Sterilization and infection control protocols exceeding OSHA standards
- Patient education and treatment coordination with empathy and clarity
- Inventory management and ordering of dental supplies
- Training and mentorship of new dental assistant team members
- Digital charting using Dentrix/Eaglesoft practice management systems
Qualifications
- Current Oregon Dental Assistant certification and radiology license
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Advanced knowledge of dental materials and instruments
- CPR/BLS certification with current renewal
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Proficiency in digital imaging and practice management software
- Strong organizational skills and attention to clinical detail
- Commitment to continuous education in dental technologies
