Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during dental procedures including restorative, endodontic, and oral surgery
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following OSHA protocols
- Take and develop dental radiographs with digital X-ray systems
- Manage patient flow and ensure optimal clinical efficiency
- Maintain accurate dental charts and digital patient records
- Assist in infection control protocols and clinical inventory management
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or RDA certification required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Proficiency in digital radiography (X-ray) and dental software (Epic, Dentrix, etc.)
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and chairside manner
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Maryland state radiography license preferred
