Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during complex restorative and cosmetic procedures including implants and veneers
- Manage digital imaging systems (DEXIS/CS 3D) and sterilization protocols per OSHA standards
- Oversee assistant team scheduling and inventory management for 6-operatories
- Implement infection control protocols and maintain compliance with dental board regulations
- Train new assistants on practice-specific workflows and technology platforms
- Coordinate patient flow between hygiene and treatment rooms
- Assist with digital case presentation using Eaglesoft software
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years chairside experience in general or cosmetic dentistry
- Current RDA/X-Ray certification in California
- Proficiency with digital radiography and practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification and infection control certification
- Strong knowledge of dental materials and instrument protocols
- Exceptional communication skills for patient education
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Spanish bilingual preferred
