Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, surgical, and cosmetic treatments
- Perform sterilization and infection control protocols exceeding OSHA standards
- Manage digital radiography and intraoral imaging systems
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for efficient workflow
- Take accurate dental impressions and pour study models
- Deliver exceptional patient education and comfort measures
- Maintain digital patient records using Dentrix/Eaglesoft software
- Coordinate with insurance providers and treatment coordinators
Qualifications
- CDA or RDA certification required (California license)
- 3+ years of chairside experience in general or cosmetic dentistry
- Mastery of infection control protocols and instrument sterilization
- Expertise in digital radiography (X-rays, CBCT) and imaging software
- Strong knowledge of dental materials and equipment
- CPR/BLS certification (current)
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
