Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including oral surgeries and restorative treatments
- Manage patient flow and maintain sterile clinical environments
- Take and develop diagnostic dental X-rays with precision
- Oversee inventory and ordering of dental supplies and equipment
- Train and mentor junior dental assistants
- Implement infection control protocols exceeding OSHA standards
- Utilize Eaglesoft practice management software efficiently
Qualifications
- Current Georgia Dental Assistant Radiology certification required
- Minimum 3 years of chairside experience in a fast-paced practice
- Advanced knowledge of dental instruments and materials
- CPR/BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross
- Proven experience with digital radiography (DEXIS, Sirona)
- Exceptional communication skills for patient education
- Ability to manage multiple priorities during high-volume days
