Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic foresight frameworks for the 2026 Initiative, identifying disruptive technologies and societal shifts
- Lead cross-functional teams of quantum computing, AI, and biotechnology specialists to prototype future-forward solutions
- Forge high-stakes partnerships with governments, Fortune 500 companies, and academic institutions
- Author seminal research papers and white papers published in Nature and Harvard Business Review
- Design and facilitate scenario-planning workshops for C-suite executives and global policymakers
- Oversee a $50M innovation portfolio focused on climate resilience and human augmentation
- Represent Horizon at Davos, TED, and UN forums as the primary voice on futurism
Qualifications
- PhD in Futuristics, Systems Theory, or related field with 10+ years of strategic foresight experience
- Proven track record of implementing exponential technologies at scale (quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Published thought leadership in top-tier scientific or business journals
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and risk mitigation for complex systems
- Exceptional stakeholder management with C-suite and government officials
- Deep understanding of geopolitical, economic, and ethical implications of emerging tech
- Portfolio of executed projects that reshaped industry standards or public policy
