Responsibilities
- Perform clinical procedures including EKGs, injections, and wound care
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during procedures
- Manage electronic health records (Epic systems) with precision
- Coordinate patient flow and optimize clinic efficiency
- Train and mentor new medical assistants
- Ensure strict HIPAA compliance and OSHA standards
Qualifications
- Active MA certification (AAMA or AMT)
- 2+ years clinical experience in cardiology or specialty care
- Proficiency in EHR systems and medical documentation
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Exceptional communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to thrive in high-volume settings
