Responsibilities
- Oversee daily pharmacy operations including prescription processing, compounding, and medication verification
- Manage inventory control systems to ensure optimal stock levels and cost efficiency
- Mentor junior technicians and enforce compliance with FDA and DEA regulations
- Collaborate with pharmacists on clinical initiatives and patient education programs
- Implement quality assurance protocols and troubleshoot technical issues
- Lead inventory audits and coordinate vendor relationships
- Train staff on new technologies and regulatory updates
Qualifications
- Active Minnesota Pharmacy Technician license
- Minimum 3 years of hospital or specialty pharmacy experience
- Certification through PTCB or ExCPT
- Proficiency in pharmacy management systems (e.g., Omnicell, QS/1)
- Strong knowledge of compounding procedures and sterile techniques
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with inventory management software
