Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medications with precision under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory control and pharmaceutical supply chain operations
- Train and mentor junior pharmacy technicians
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient record confidentiality
- Operate automated dispensing systems and pharmacy software
- Collaborate with healthcare providers for optimal patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Indiana Pharmacy Technician license (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Minimum 3 years of pharmacy experience in retail/hospital setting
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology and regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in medication handling
- Experience with inventory management systems
