Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms via phone triage and determine appropriate care level
- Collaborate with physicians to prioritize emergency cases based on acuity
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Provide clear patient education on home care and follow-up protocols
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for seamless patient flow
- Implement infection control and safety protocols consistently
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and training programs
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nebraska with at least 2 years clinical experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; TNCC preferred
- Strong assessment skills and critical thinking abilities
- Experience with Epic EHR systems preferred
- Excellent communication and de-escalation techniques
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in high-volume settings
