Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture, capillary draws, and specimen collection with precision
- Maintain sterile techniques and adhere to OSHA/JCAHO protocols
- Train and mentor junior phlebotomy staff
- Process specimens and maintain accurate electronic records
- Coordinate with laboratory teams for efficient specimen handling
- Implement quality control procedures
Qualifications
- Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) or equivalent
- 3+ years of clinical phlebotomy experience
- Excellent venipuncture skills in diverse patient populations
- BLS/CPR certification
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments
