Responsibilities
- Architecting Solutions: Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures that integrate seamlessly with classical AI systems for 2026 deployment.
- R&D Leadership: Lead a high-performance team of quantum researchers and engineers to explore novel algorithms and error correction methods.
- Strategic Roadmap: Define the technical roadmap for the company’s quantum initiatives, ensuring milestones are met for the 2026 product launch.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams including data scientists, security experts, and product managers to translate business needs into quantum solutions.
- Prototyping: Build and iterate on proof-of-concept quantum systems to validate technical feasibility and performance metrics.
- Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage relationships with quantum hardware providers and cloud quantum computing platforms.
Qualifications
- Education: Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on Quantum Mechanics.
- Experience: At least 5-7 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years specifically in quantum computing or AI development.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and experience with quantum programming frameworks like Qiskit, Cirq, or PyQuil.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams, mentor junior engineers, and drive project execution from conception to deployment.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of solving complex, abstract problems in high-pressure environments.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
