Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain sterile surgical environments with meticulous attention to detail
- Assist surgeons during procedures by anticipating equipment and supply needs
- Train and mentor new surgical technologists on protocols and best practices
- Operate advanced surgical equipment including robotic systems and endoscopic devices
- Conduct thorough instrument counts and sterilization verifications
- Collaborate with anesthesia and nursing teams to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for surgical workflow efficiency
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with 5+ years of experience
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Expertise in orthopedic and neurosurgical procedures
- Proven leadership experience in surgical team settings
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure emergency situations
- Experience with robotic surgical systems preferred
