Responsibilities
- Assist in complex surgical procedures with precision and sterile technique
- Prepare operating rooms, instruments, and equipment for diverse specialties
- Maintain strict sterile fields and enforce OSHA compliance protocols
- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia teams for seamless operations
- Train and mentor junior surgical technologists
- Manage inventory and sterilization processes
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent certification
- 3+ years of experience in Level I trauma center OR
- Expertise in orthopedic, neuro, and cardiovascular procedures
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Proven leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work high-pressure shifts with minimal supervision
