Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms, instruments, and sterile supplies for complex surgical procedures
- Assist surgeons during operations with precision and efficiency
- Maintain sterile environments and enforce strict aseptic protocols
- Inventory and manage surgical equipment inventory
- Mentor junior surgical tech staff
- Document procedural activities accurately
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- Minimum 3 years of OR experience in surgical specialties
- Advanced cardiac or neurosurgical experience preferred
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Knowledge of sterile processing standards
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work in high-pressure environments
