Responsibilities
- Prepare sterile surgical environments and equipment for complex procedures
- Assist surgeons during operations with precise instrument passing
- Maintain strict aseptic techniques and sterilization protocols
- Coordinate surgical instrument inventory and maintenance
- Train and mentor junior surgical tech staff
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and JCAHO standards
- Manage surgical case cart preparation and verification
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required
- Minimum 5 years OR experience with neuro/cardiovascular specialization
- BLS/CPR certification with ACLS preferred
- Proven leadership experience in surgical settings
- Mastery of advanced surgical instrumentation
- Expertise in sterile processing and infection control
