Responsibilities
- Prepare sterile fields and surgical instruments for 15+ daily procedures across specialties
- Assist surgeons during complex operations with instrument passing and hemostasis
- Maintain strict aseptic techniques and OSHA compliance in all surgical processes
- Coordinate with anesthesia and nursing teams for seamless case transitions
- Train and mentor junior surgical tech staff on advanced techniques
- Manage inventory of high-value surgical supplies and equipment
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with 5+ years ORT experience
- Advanced Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (ACLS) certification required
- Proven expertise in minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgery
- Strong knowledge of sterile processing and surgical instrumentation
- Ability to maintain composure during emergency procedures
- Excellent communication skills for multidisciplinary collaboration
