Responsibilities
- Provide personalized care to elderly and disabled clients in home settings
- Assist with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments as directed
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Maintain clean and safe home environments for patients
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care plans
- Offer emotional support and companionship to enhance patient wellbeing
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional home health or hospice care experience
- Current Oklahoma HHA certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- CPR and First Aid certifications required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical care tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation with adequate auto insurance
- Background check and drug screening clearance mandatory
