Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy large-scale distributed systems for high-traffic event management platforms.
- Lead a cross-functional team of engineers, developers, and operations specialists to deliver milestones on time.
- Ensure 99.99% uptime for critical ticketing and security infrastructure during event phases.
- Oversee the migration of legacy systems to modern cloud-native architectures (AWS/Azure).
- Implement robust cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive event data and user information.
- Conduct rigorous technical risk assessments and develop contingency plans for system failures.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Systems Engineering, IT Architecture, or DevOps.
- Proven track record managing large-scale projects, preferably in high-stakes environments.
- Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Strong proficiency in scripting and programming languages (Python, Go, or Java).
- Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and ISO 27001 security standards.
- PMP or Prince2 certification is highly preferred.
