Responsibilities
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and phlebotomy procedures
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during procedures
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems with precision
- Administer injections and medications as prescribed
- Schedule appointments and maintain inventory of medical supplies
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Current certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in a medical setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic, NextGen, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- BLS/CPR certification from an accredited provider
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
