Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including vital signs, EKGs, and injections under physician supervision
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during procedures
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with precision and confidentiality
- Schedule appointments and maintain efficient clinic workflows
- Handle patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Order and inventory medical supplies while ensuring regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience
- Active MA certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in outpatient setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification with current credentials
- Strong interpersonal skills with patient-centered focus
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA regulations
