Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including vital sign checks, EKGs, phlebotomy, and medication administration
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during procedures
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Coordinate patient flow and manage appointment schedules
- Ensure sterile exam environments and inventory management
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Accredited Medical Assistant certification or equivalent experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
