As a Medical Assistant at our Fort Worth clinic, you will be the bridge between our patients and providers, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional patient experiences.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and verify personal and insurance information upon arrival.
- Prepare patients for examinations by assisting with attire and positioning.
- Record vital signs, medical histories, and symptoms accurately.
- Perform basic laboratory tests, administer medications as directed by physicians, and prepare blood samples for analysis.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) and maintain organized filing systems.
- Assist providers during procedures and provide patient education on treatment plans.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and safe environment following strict infection control protocols.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program is preferred.
- Certification as a CMA (AAMA) or RMA (AMT) is a plus.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced medical environment.
- Valid Texas Driver's License and reliable transportation.
