Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including patient vitals, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection
- Assist physicians during examinations and minor procedures
- Manage patient electronic health records (EHR) with precision
- Prepare exam rooms and ensure sterile environments
- Schedule appointments and handle patient communications
- Process insurance verifications and maintain compliance protocols
- Administer medications and assist with patient education
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in outpatient setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/EMR preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification
- Oklahoma state MA license
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to HIPAA compliance
