Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations, take vital signs, and document medical histories
- Assist providers during clinical procedures and administer medications as directed
- Perform routine laboratory tests and maintain accurate patient records
- Manage inventory of medical supplies and sterilize equipment
- Schedule appointments and handle patient communications
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
Qualifications
- Graduate from accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent certification
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- 1+ years clinical experience preferred
- Proficiency in EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Strong communication and organizational skills

- Kansas medical assistant license required
