Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers with clinical procedures
- Administer injections, medications, and perform EKGs as directed
- Manage electronic health records and maintain accurate patient documentation
- Sterilize equipment and ensure exam rooms are fully stocked
- Coordinate patient scheduling and communicate with insurance providers
- Perform basic lab tests and specimen processing
Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent certification
- Current CPR certification and BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in outpatient setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic experience preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and medical protocols
