Responsibilities
- Perform routine vital signs and medical examinations under the direct supervision of physicians and nurse practitioners.
- Prepare examination rooms, sterilize equipment, and ensure a clean, safe environment for patients.
- Assist with patient intake, including reviewing medical history and updating electronic health records (EHR).
- Administer medications and injections as prescribed and document all procedures accurately.
- Coordinate patient scheduling, referrals, and laboratory specimen collections.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (CMA or RMA certification preferred).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic medical records systems.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting.
