Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during procedures
- Administer injections and medications as directed
- Accurately document patient records in EHR systems
- Perform vital signs and basic lab tests
- Schedule appointments and manage patient correspondence
- Maintain sterile exam rooms and medical supplies
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic a plus)
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- High school diploma or equivalent
